Co-founders, long-time friends and devoted hair enthusiasts Tim and Adrian discovered the true power of haircare after launching Twin Palms on James Street in 2017. Like their approach to a good haircut, they wanted to create a haircare brand that could deliver a delightful experience while also providing salon-grade quality and aesthetically pleasing design, without nasty ingredients or high prices.

Are St. Louis Says products safe for babies and children?

Babies and young children have much thinner skin than you and a lower tolerance to most formulations. St. Louis Says to stick with child specific products for your little cherubs.

Are St. Louis Says products okay if I have sensitive skin?

Everyone’s skin is unique and reacts to formulas differently; even the most natural products. St. Louis Says to check the ingredients list before use and test on a small patch of hair prior to full use if you prophesise concerns.

What Ingredients make St. Louis Says work?

Amaranth Extract: Increases the diametre of every strand for fuller looking hair, without weighing it down.

Hydrolyzed Rice Protein: Infuses hair with charges to lift strands and energise hair with volume and bounce.

Amisol trio: Protects and improves moisture balance and helps detangle. Ideal for delicate hair.

Soybean oil: Essential fatty acids moisturise to support healthy hair follicles and strengthen strands.

Panthenol: Smooths out imperfections in dry, rough hair shafts for softer, moisturised hair.

Are St. Louis Says products vegan?

Are St. Louis Says products gluten free?

Yes. Gluten free and guilt free. We are good.

Are St. Louis Says products nut free?

No. Our products contain nut oils and our manufacturing facility is not nut-free. Paradise has peanut butter, it would seem.

Are St. Louis Says products cruelty free?

Yes. We adore all creatures and no animals come to harm in hair heaven.

Are St. Louis Says products SLS free?

The only SLS you’ll find here is in our name, not our products.

SLS stands for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and is a cleansing surfactant (meaning it attaches to and removes oil-based dirt) commonly used in shampoos, cleansers and even toothpaste. SLS and other surfactants are what give products that foaming, lathering effect and leave a super-clean feeling. However, SLS can be quite drying, and many people find it harsh on their hair and skin. In our devotion to gentleness, we turn to the coconut-derived Sodium Olefin Sulfonate and Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, which still create a lather without damning your scalp to dryness.

Are St. Louis Says products paraben free?

Yes. We are on a quest for purity. Parabens are a type of preservative commonly used in cosmetics to help stabilise a formula and prevent things like mould and bacteria developing in the bottle. Cosmetics such as shampoo and conditioner do need some form of preserving ingredient, but many people find parabens to be harsh, so we look to alternatives such as phenoxyethanol: an effective, very stable, and blessed antimicrobial.

Are St. Louis Says bottles recyclable?

Yes. St. Louis Says bottles are fully recyclable. All our bottles are made from 100% recyclable HDPE plastic and our pumps are made from 100% recyclable plastic, which means you can add them to your regular plastic recycling bins and they should be reincarnated. Remember to wash out your bottles in the shower’s purifying waters first.

How long does shipping take?

Every order is celebrated, packed with love, and showered with affection before sending. 

Delivery times vary by carrier and shipping method chosen at checkout; however, typically, it is 1-10 business days after the order leaves our warehouse (in the clouds).

When can I expect my order to ship?

Your order will be shipped the same day if placed before 11am AEST. There may be a 1-2 day processing time during sale and holiday periods. Forgive us.

My shipping is delayed, what do I do?

We understand it is frustrating when your package is delayed and we are devoted to your heavenly experience. The best thing to do is to contact the courier directly regarding the delay, as this can be the quickest way to receive feedback regarding your package.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not in bliss, we’re not in bliss. That's why we'll gladly give you your money back if you are not 100% satisfied with your St. Louis Says purchase. We encourage you to try the product for at least two weeks. If you are not converted, simply return the items within 30 days (the items must be returned) and we'll refund you.
